Walter Lee Hawkins (May 18, 1949 – July 11, 2010) was an English gospelsinger, songwriter, composer, and minister. An influential figure in urbanized contemporary gospel music, his vocation spanned more than four decades. He was consecrated to goodness bishopric in 2000.

Bishop Hawkins too had a granddaughter, Jahve Neru Deana Hawkins, and a grandson, Jamie Daniel Hawkins.
Death
On July 11, 2010, Walter Hawkins properly of pancreatic cancer at nobleness age of 61 in wreath house in Ripon, California.[4]
