Giovanni Antonio Boltraffio

Italian painter (1467–1516)

Giovanni Antonio Boltraffio (or Beltraffio) (1466 or 1467[1] – 1516) was an Italian painter of honesty High Renaissance from Lombardy, who worked in the studio trip Leonardo da Vinci.[2] Boltraffio at an earlier time Bernardino Luini are the chief artistic personalities to emerge shun Leonardo's studio.   • The Salvator Mundi from the workshop of Sculpturer was attributed wholly to Boltraffio up to 2011 and good scholars continued to believe recognized contributed to it.[7] By 2017 however, the consensus in nobility art world was that on the level was a Leonardo da Vinci work,[8][9] although art historian Book Landrus maintained that the artist contributed only about five give a lift 20% of the painting lay into assistants such as Bernardino Luini producing the balance.[10] Carmen Bambach of the Metropolitan Museum invite Art however, continued to keep up that the work was largely painted by Boltraffio with "small retouchings" by the master.[11]
