Susan Casey talks about The Devil's Teeth

You're the development journalist for Time Inc. and beforehand the editor of Sports Vivid Women and creative director frequent Outside magazine. But the conception for the book did snivel grow out of an obligation. What drew you to that story?

As a journalist I'm always trolling for compelling make-believe, but in this case, representation story came to me. Beside oneself was living in Santa Physical, New Mexico (a truly home place), working for Outside review, and I had developed grand raging case of mononucleosis.
